Centro Italian Kitchen at Metropolis in Plainfield.

Every month a group of my Realtor friends and I meet at different restaurants around the area. We get together, have some fun, enjoy dinner and relax a bit. Some times we talk shop, but mostly we don't.

This month we went to Centro Italian Kitchen at Metropolis in Plainfield.

This place has a great atmosphere! Tall ceilings with exposed vents, cool lighting, plants and a large bar with plenty of seating in case you have a wait.

The night we went was Prom Night; lots of young couples dressed up for their night out. Since we made reservations, we didn't have to wait.

The food was very good. Some of the samplings we had were; Chicken Picata, Carbonara, Shrimp Pomodora, Pasta Centro, and Chicken Florentina. Everyone agreed the food was great and enjoyed their meal.

Rave Motion Picture is the premium in movie theatres. The Rave at Metropolis offers 18 screens. For your viewing pleasure, each theatre has true stadium seating with 48 inches (thats 4 feet) of leg room between every row of seats. You can really get comfortable watching the movie on the big screen.

Metropolis - sounds like an "out of this world" experience. Well.........for the shopper in me, it is. With most of my favorite stores in one place, what more could a woman ask for. This is truly a shopping experience!

Metropolis, located off US 40 in Plainfield, is the newest mall in the Indianapolis area. Uniquely designed, it is an outdoor mall, which makes for a fabulous Springtime day of shopping. The combination of fresh air, shopping and a good cup of Starbucks coffee is almost sensory overload.

Everyone will find a favorite store here, or a favorite restaurant. We recently went to Centro Italian Kitchen and it was excellent.

The Rave Motion Picture Theatre completes a full day at Metropolis.
